APM Process Analytics Specialist - JOB ID 630

WestCorp Solutions is seeking a remote APM Process Analytics Specialist for our client in Calgary, AB. The candidate will work within an integrated team of subject matter experts to implement predictive analytics across an Oil & Gas Enterprise.

Tasks & Responsibilities
 Develop, Test and Validate Modelling and Analytics for Process Static Equipment including:
 Heat Exchangers
 Fired Heaters
 Boilers
 Develop models and Predictive Diagnostics in Analytical Platforms including but not limited to:
 AVEVA Process Optimization (ROMeo) – Equipment Performance KPIs
 AVEVA Predictive Analytics (PRiSM) – Machine Learning Models
 OSI PI Asset Framework – Data Mapping, Dashboarding, Eng. Calcs
 Conducting scoping exercises, including large asset list review, business case development, and data gap assessment.
 Mapping control system tag data to analytic inputs/metrics by reviewing P&IDs and Historian Databases.
 Collecting and reviewing engineering documentation for equipment specifications and system information.
 Provide Innovative ideas to support asset performance management initiatives.
 Providing updates to APM program team, with support to schedule, scope and budget management.
 Coordinating, directing and reviewing the work of vendors and engineering contractors.
 Identifying risks and issues within your area of responsibility.
 Creating supporting documentation or collecting information pertinent to the project.
 Interfacing with integrated team to work collaboratively.

Skill/Knowledge
 Process System Modelling (Heat/Energy balance) in any tool such as ROMeo, Hysys, PRO/II, etc.
 Knowledge of reliability principles and asset management within Oil & Gas and/or Process Industries.
 Knowledge of Heat Transfer Equipment Fundamentals and Key failure modes.
 Innovative Thinking with the use of data to provide asset insights with a strong interest in analytics.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work effectively with personnel.
 High proficiency with MS Office suite of products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
 Quick to learn and adapt to new tools/processes.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements
 Process/Chemical Engineering Degree or Equivalent with 4+ years of qualifying experience (Preference given to intermediate resources, 5-15 years).
 Experience reading/understanding P&IDs and engineering documentation.

Work Location: Remote from home

Schedule: Monday - Friday
