WestCorp Solutions is searching for a Consumer Insights Advisor to support our Client in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will lead a team of experts who ensure the voice of our clients customers and loyalty members remains at the center of strategic and tactical decisions in service of our client’s brand. The Customer Experience Insights team is responsible for representing customer data and customer voice in a wide range of strategic and tactical decisions. Working with colleagues across Sales & Marketing, they will call on your expertise to support the future of their loyalty program, their convenience retailing, energy and car wash business, email communications, offers, promotions and more. Key Accountabilities:
Represent the voice of our client’s retail and wholesale customer, using market research to support Brand Marketing category and business objectives.
Work with market research, segmentation, and analytics, uncovering actionable ‘so what’ insights to guide business strategy and decisions.
Support strategic and tactical projects to further retail and wholesale marketing priorities (e.g., retail campaigns, branding, category support, etc.)
Utilize Qualtrics market research software tools to author, program and execute research studies to meet project objectives; typically, one or more studies per month.
Manage research community health and engagement.
Assist in the development and evaluation of the annual retail campaign calendar, as well as campaign messaging and testing of communications creative.
Participate in product or concept innovation workshops as the research lead.

Minimum Requirements:
Five (5) years of quantitative market research experience preferred, qualitative experience is considered an asset.
Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Master of Business administration is preferred.
This role works extensively in Qualtrics Research XM; previous experience with market research software is considered an asset but the client can provide Qualtrics training for the right applicant if required.
Experience with statistical software packages such as SPSS, R, or similar.
MS Power BI is considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience of market research methodologies and practice, including survey writing, sampling methodology, survey programming, deployment and analysis.
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills. High degree of comfort in working with market research data, including statistical analysis as required.
Client service focus (this department strives for excellence in serving internal clients).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – ability to filter and translate study results into insights for business owners and leaders.
Excellent presentation skills – ability to adapt results into presentations and lead workshops when required.
Excellent time management and project management skills – this position handles a steady volume of analytical projects and timelines can be tight.
Retail marketing, sales, communications, or loyalty experience is considered an asset.
