CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR - JOB ID 395

Our Client is looking for a contract admin for a short term duration (approx. 8 weeks) to help with the close out phase of a project. This position will be work from home so individual will need to be fully set up to work from home and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently independently.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Key point contact / interface between Procurement and the business line in the contract development and sustainment process
  • Provides input and background to Procurement in support of the Contract Development Plan to ensure strategies are established with achievable milestones, scopes and logistics
  • Facilitates contract implementation requirements and ensures communication of impacts and status to the business area
  • Monitors and address the effectiveness of newly implemented agreements; intervenes where necessary to prevent repeat shortfalls
  • Full understanding of contract scope, terms and conditions; Educate / support SCL users for understanding of contract obligations
  • Communicate work processes and expectations to contractor in concert with business areas utilizing the services
  • Monitor/address deficiencies when business controls (CIMS) are not being met
  • Facilitate contractor stewardships as per Frequency Matrix or as required
  • Collaborate with Procurement and the business to develop and maintain Contract Summaries
  • Monitor contract activity to ensure terms and conditions are being met and intervene as necessary
  • Initiate / review and assess amendments to contracts
  • Interface with all stakeholder groups related to Contractor use/monitoring including but not limited to; Procurement CDMS, Internal Audit, Business Controls, Senior Management, SH&E, and Labour Relations

Requirements

  • Three years of contract administration experience
  • Experience with various types of contracts, agreements and legal documents
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Strong computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and contract database management systems
  • Excellent social skills with a collaborative attitude and the proven ability to deal professionally with internal and external partners
  • Ability to work proficiently from home
