Develop the turnaround plan from event inception to completion, and in accordance with Turnaround milestone’s deliverables & timelines.
Overall planning for assigned scope and plant.
Works closely with the Outage Planners, Outage Coordinators, Contractor Supervision and Outage Execution Leaders to develop the executable plans in Primavera P6 along with required job packages.
Works with technical team members to clearly understand the detailed scope and develop planning steps.
Responsible for coordinating with technical, procurement, contractors, coordinators, and process operations on items related to progress planning efforts.
Review, assess & plan each turnaround job on assigned area of unit for requirements (i.e., job strategy, drawings, materials/parts, engineering specifications, tooling, contract requirements, equipment, resources and duration).
Assess jobs for prefabrication possibilities, prepare and initiate work for execution Participate with Technical in engineering reviews, turnaround reviews and SMED.
Engage major contractor in schedule development and ensuring schedule buy-in.
Field check job site for job plan and work face alignment Identify material requirements, develop MTOs and work with material coordinators/procurement to receive materials in-time without impact to Turnaround timing.
Create notification for work request for CMS and interface with CMS planners as required.
Monitor the status of prefab work, including offsite vendors.
Provide planning progress updates of assigned units & sensitivities to area leadership team.
Work with Schedulers for schedule integrity, analysis, look ahead reporting, and workforce optimization plans.
Provide estimation information for the plan to help develop overall cost estimation.
Manage found scope and contingency planning during the execution window.
Perform turnaround close-out activities related to planning function.
