Intermediate AMP Rotating Reliability Engineer - JOB ID 653
Key Accountabilities:
Working within an integrated team of subject matter experts to implement instrumentation predictive analytics across an Oil & Gas Enterprise.
Develop, Test, and Validate Analytics for Rotating equipment including Pumps, Compressors, Blowers/fans, Bulk Handling Mining Equipment, and ESPs.
Develop models and Predictive Diagnostics in Analytical Platforms including but not limited to: AVEVA Predictive Analytics (PRiSM) – Machine Learning Models, AVEVA Process Optimization (ROMeo) – Equipment Performance KPIs, OSI PI Asset Framework – Data Mapping, Dashboarding, Eng. Calcs, AMS Machine Works – Wireless Vibration Monitoring, GE APM (Meridium) – Asset Health Analytics, Dashboarding.
Providing Support to the Scoping, Engineering and Setup of a pervasive wireless vibration monitoring program.
Mapping control system tag data to analytic inputs/metrics by reviewing P&IDs and Historian Databases.
Collecting and reviewing engineering documentation for equipment specifications and system information.
Provide Innovative ideas to support asset performance management initiatives.
Providing updates to APM program team, with support to schedule, scope, and budget management.
Coordinating, directing, and reviewing the work of vendors and engineering contractors.
Identifying risks and issues within your area of responsibility.
Creating supporting documentation or collecting information pertinent to the project.
Interfacing with integrated team to work collaboratively.
Minimum Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
Five (5) years of qualifying experience.
A Professional designation with (APEGA) or (ASET) Professionals of Alberta.
Experience reading/understanding P&IDs and engineering documentation.
High proficiency with MS Office suite of products; Word, Excel (VBA), PowerPoint, Project.
Quick to learn and adapt to new tools/processes.
Assets:
Vibration Analyst of any Category.
Knowledge of Data Analytics including R-Script and Machine Learning.
Knowledge of GE APM (Meridium) and/or SAP.
Prior experience in the use of process historians (PI, PHD).
Experience and familiarity with client’s business process.
Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of reliability principles and asset management within Oil & Gas and/or Process Industries.
Knowledge of Rotating Equipment Fundamentals and Key failure modes.
Knowledge of Vibration Condition Monitoring Principles.
Innovative Thinking with the use of data to provide asset insights with a strong interest in analytics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work effectively with personnel at site while based in Calgary.
Schedule: Monday to Friday; remote and site work.
