WestCorp Solutions is seeking a Procurement Advisor to support our client located in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Manager, Professional Services, the Procurement Advisor is responsible to perform all related supply chain management (SCM) operational activities including planning, scheduling, coordination, and procurement. The successful candidate will understand and balance requests for materials or services, examine the needs of our corporate and professional functional business partners and ensure fulfilment in accordance with the SCM operational model.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the entire lifecycle of purchase orders and other procurement documentation.
Plan supply chain operations activities in order to supply materials and/or services to meet the requirements of our business partners.
Provide guidance and coaching on daily procurement activities and more complex project activities.
Leverage knowledge and experience to address more complex procurement related issues and situations.
Collaborate with a large diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan.
Support continuous improvements initiatives across all aspects of Supply Chain.
Drive compliance with SCM policies, processes, procedures, and strategies.

Skills & Knowledge:

High proficiency in SAP, Livelink, Tableau and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of master data, supply operations process, contract administration.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities on a consistent basis.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience & Education:

Six or more years of experience in the supply chain field.
Experience in procurement, inventory management, and/or warehouse operations.
Oil and gas industry experience is preferred.
University degree required, preferably in supply chain or business administration.
