Project Administrator Document Control - ID 239 - North Vancouver, BC

The Project Administrator with Document Control person is responsible for providing accurate document review and control to meet our client's project specifications and company needs in a timely, professional and knowledgeable manner. Our client is looking for a motivated individual who is committed to growing their professional career while gaining valuable knowledge and experience through a variety of assignments.

Roles & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

Provide document management administration for the company, which includes physical and electronic files, documents and other records ensuring all are managed through to completeness.
Code documents, including data entry from electronic records.
Assist with document quality control: include filing, distributing and discarding records.
Provide project support by performing duties including maintaining job related files and documentation.
Maintain reporting documentation and logs of document retrievals, updates, distributions and removals; attention to detail is a necessity.
Design file structure for easy access and retrieval of files.
Review and maintain a master list of archived files, designed to retrieve archived files efficiently.
Assist with time-sensitive material such as urgent and confidential packages.
Provide general administrative support to assist with the smooth functioning of the assigned project and the company.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Previous experience in an administrative role with a focus on records management
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Good computer and word processing skills including experience with formatting documents to meet company standards.
Construction related degree/diploma and 5 years of construction scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiar with Construction Project Documentation in the following sectors:
Ports and Terminals
Pulp & Paper is a benefit
Oil/Gas/Chemical Refining

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 hour days
