Tasks & Responsibilities:
Capital cost forecasting on multiple projects – manage multiple projects (5 to 10) with cost forecasts for services, materials, and internal costs.
Change management – use change management through PCN’s to control and communicate changes (Cost and Schedule). Keep a PCN register for all projects.
Progress and performance – report progress and performance for all projects in monthly stewardship (use earned value).
Review Project Schedules – Aline schedule to cost forecast and progress.
Monthly stewardship – complete stewardship for supporting projects and communicate to stakeholders.
Contractor PC deliverables – keep contractors accountable for PC deliverables.

Skill/Knowledge:
Good understanding of Excel.
Able to manage multiple contractors and keep them accountable to PC deliverables.
Understand SAP and some experience in using the system.
Understand all PC functions including:
How to read an estimate and be able to cast it out into control budgets.
Develop and manage, in parallel, detailed cost reports for multiple projects.
Understand change management and use change management to effectively manage capital costs.
Understand project schedules, how to read them and how they should be aligned with project costs.
Use progress and performance to steward projects.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
Eight (8) years experience working as an Project Controls analyst/specialist on Capital projects
Have experience in the Oil and Gas business.
Be a Project Controls Generalist - understand all Project Controls functions (estimating, cost control, scheduling, progress, and performance and change management).
Understand systems (SAP etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Understand Earned Value Management.
