Tasks & Responsibilities
• Review existing asset databases and criticalities to develop equipment strategies in support of safe, reliable and compliant asset performance within Distribution.
• Collaborate with Distribution and Corporate personnel to migrate developed strategy data into the GE APM system and create any new ones within the system.
• Create task lists, maintenance plans and maintenance items in SAP that are aligned with approved equipment strategies.
• Develop bills of material (BOMs) and material masters for maintenance-significant assets (criticality A/B/C).
• Monitor the effectiveness of maintenance programs by tracking costs, failure rates and plant reliability.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
• Five (5) to Ten (10) years of reliability programs or maintenance planning experience in the petroleum or utilities industry (refinery, upgrader, terminals, SAGD facilities, power plants).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or red seal journeyman certificate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability processes & principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively – oral and written.
Skill/Knowledge
• Familiarity with the GE APM applications suite (Meridium, RAW, etc).
• Previous experience creating bills of materials and material masters in SAP is considered an asset.
