Tasks & Responsibilities:
Responsible for operation activities planning for maintenance outages and shutdowns.
Responsible to evaluate and prioritize operation plans for safe execution of Extraction and Utilities Equipment for maintenance, inspection, and repair as per the TA worklist.
Follow all operating processes and procedures during operations and TA activities to ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment.
Perform required plant turnaround duties and communicate all changes clearly and effectively.
Report and appropriately flag all plant related issues beyond your scope to your leader.
Maintain & execute operation readiness schedule to measure the readiness of 2023 TA/outage.
Ensure the turnaround operation schedule includes all tasks and activities necessary to achieve the scope and objectives of the turnaround/outage.
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
Closely monitor the operation critical path and near critical path scope and report the variance to the execution and work with execution to develop recovery plans.
Performs frequent field audits, identifies problems, and makes recommendations.
Identifies and reports activities which have critical or potential impact on schedule.
Participates in the lessons learned and lookback process for the turnaround event.

Effective multitasking skills.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience in plant operations; experience in heavy oil processing, Bitumen Extraction operations, and/or Utilities is preferred.
4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is required.
Effective Analytical skills.
Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off – 12 hours per day – Daytime and Nighttime shifts are required.
